Australia Rugby Bodies Aim To Lift Results

The horrific recent record of Australia against New Zealand has led to a meeting of coaches in Sydney this week.

Rod Kafer the Former Wallaby, who is now leading the national coaching panel ARU has made the arrangement for coaching staff of all four Australian Super Rugby (ASR) teams, as well as the national team, to, assemble at the headquarters of ARU in St Leonard’s. Etzebeth Asks Fans: “Leave Our Loved Ones Alone!”

Springboks captain Eben Etzebeth has called on disappointed fans not to vent their anger towards the players’ loved ones.

Etzebeth was commenting in the wake of the Springboks’ 57-0 drubbing at the hands of the All Blacks in Albany last Saturday. Given the nature of the defeat, it would not be out of place to expect such discontentment.

It was the biggest defeat in the history of the Springbok rugby’s inception that dates back to 1891. (more…)

Springboks’ 57-0 drubbing to the All Blacks has been dubbed as one of the ‘darkest nights ever’.

South Africans Condemn Bolsover Performance

It will take a while before many South Africans recover from Saturday’s 57-0 thrashing of their home rugby team the Springboks by world champions New Zealand, well known as All Blacks, in the Rugby Championship.

To say the loss, the biggest in the history of the Springboks, stunned the rugby-mad South Africans would be an understatement. The record surpassed the margin of defeat, which had been set in their 57-15 loss to New Zealand in Durban last year. (more…)
